Shape of the Day was a yearlong daily practice in which I cut an improvised, asymmetrical shape from construction paper, pasted it in a journal, dated it, photographed it, and posted the photo (starting 6 months into the practice) on Instagram. In process and product, the work explores spaces between life and art, individuality and collectivity, and the finite and the infinite. View the work here.
